Producing a short film was uncharted territory for .hausformat. Founded in 2002 as a private limited company (GmbH), .hausformat specializes in web design on the one hand and postproduction and 3D computer animation on the other. It only seemed natural to make use of the existing infrastructure and expertise in this area not only in the postproduction process but in the project as a whole. Central to the project were Reto Schmid as production and location manager and Sacha Suter, who was in charge of visual effects. Intern Tobias Fiechter also assisted during filming.
