Katja Steuer trained as an actress at the Akademie für darstellende Kunst in Ulm. Following engagements at theatres in Greifswald and Dresden, where she played a variety of roles including Antigone in Jean Anouilh’s play of the same name, Shen Te/Shui Ta in Brecht’s The Good Person of Szechwan and the lead role in Frank Wedekind’s Lulu, she began to work as a freelance actress. She most recently featured in the one-woman play Covergirl in Stendal. Katja Steuer has gradually developed a passion for film and has starred in a range of different German film and TV productions over the last few years.
